Definitely unnatural pose, but I think that if her head was smaller it actually wouldn't look so strange. her head is very side and larger than his, which I think is the most glaring impossibility here. I like the background here, the pale yellows and pinks really sets a romantic mood here and put the focus on the couple. I've noticed this in some of your other picture too, your shading of skin and hair is very well done and always makes the skin look very soft and the highlights are always in the right places.
I kinda disagree with previous commenter. Anime is not an excuse for unnatural poses, and this look VERY strange. but still, I got the idea, and it's the most important, so I can say you did well. I can definitely say you are able to share emotions through your art, this couple is so fluff-cuteness-romance, that I want to listen some happy music now. I also like the choice of colours and the girl's outfit. And, like it was already said, SHADES. They look amazing, I have big problemm with them, too, and that's actually pretty sad. Many people tell me I should make them shrper and darker, but I still like to blend, and now, looking at your art I understood how to mix these two things. I hope on my next work they'll look better... But. The anatomy. Again. The same problem. legs look like doll's, guy's hand should have squished them, but here I cannot see that. The above-the-knee part is shorter, than below-the-knee, and they should be the same length. It's a pretty common mistake, I admit, I do it too, sometimes lol. And girl's stomach looks like... it don't exist. It's probably breasts are placed too low. And they're huge But this work is already better, than previous one I commented, keep it up!
I don't think he really mean that anime style was an excuse to make mistakes, i feel it more like anime style is less demanding than pure and strict realism for example, which does not allow any mistake at all ♥ There are a lot of exaggerations in manga / anime style and this is why it's fun and maybe easier for beginners ♥ I do know the position here looks so awkward and unatural but i think he just wanted to say that the fact it was in anime style surely makes it less weird than if it was a realist portrait (well i felt it like i may be wrong ). Of course it doesn't mean i'm saying "well i's in anime style, i don't care if this is humanly impossible" i'm asking for advice here and i know i can't improve if i make excuses for each mistake i make ♥ So i'm very grateful that people like you come here to comment my work this meticulously ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I'm very very thankful ♥ Your words are always so kind ♥ ! I am SO happy that my art is able to help you, i hope you'll be satisfied with your next work ♥ I knoooow, the anatomy is so off haha ♥ BUT I SWEAR I'M PRACTICING XD !!!!!!!!! I wasn't aware at all that above & below-knee parts were the same length !!!!! Seriously i really did not know !!! I'll care about this detail next time for sure !!! ♥ Anyway, thank you so much for your interest !!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ I'll do my best next time !! Keep up the good work too ♥
Impossible position, yes, but that's the fun of anime lol It is a beautiful job, the coloring especially. The yellows & oranges give it that warm feeling, & the pink roses are perfect for that romantic atmosphere. I love how you went through detailing Sonic on the guy's shirt, not many people bother with that.
YES, you are totally right, this is one of the reason why i love the anime style actually ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Thank you SO MUCH for the kind words ♥ i spend some time on that Sonic tee so i'm glad that you appreciate my work ♥ Thank you again
One of you best pieces of work ♥ ♥ ♥ And you named it after a Soshi song, you always know how to get me. ♥
On a more serious note, when you look at the Girl de Provence drawing, you can tell how much more comfortable you became with your new method of colouring compared to this one, that looks a bit more experimental. Yet, you managed to make this first attempt look fantastic and neatly executed. ♥ As usual, I should say. ♥ So props for that. ♥
I now I've told you that a hundred times, but the way you draw characters have so much personality (if that makes sense), and not many people/amateur artists have their own style like you do, and you keep getting better and better with each drawing you deliver, which makes people who follow you eager to see your next artwork. ♥
It is so pleasant to see that you've been drawing a lot more - and COLOURING a lot more - these days. So keep the good work and know that these long hours spent on your drawings are not a waste of time considering the beautiful result, so don't ever get tired or discouraged even if you feel like something is out of place even after trying again and again (i.e. that background that gave you a hard time and that you eventually didn't really like but that came out adorable ♥), okay ? ♥
My english vocabulary is too limited so i can't find the right words to thank you the way you deserve ♥ Moreover i feel shameful speaking in english in front of you.
I love you, cute thing ♥ Your advice and opinion are the most precious to me and i'm not saying this because you are absolutely hot or something. (but you're hot indeed) Actually you do know how painful it is sometimes for me when it's getting too long, anyway it is worth it when i see you being satisfied. (i'm not talking about sex) As I told you earlier, your support is the only reason why i'm motivated to draw so i would like to thank you again for cheering me ♥ This piece was originally called " All My Love", please appreciate how much i love you, PLEASE.
(btw i love your syntax.) (My comment sucks but i have some other talents.)
Very nice, the textures in the hair are very good, as is the shine on the surface. Both are very realistic!
The shadows are done nicely, but the girl's head is a bit large, especially compared to the boy's. I think making the hair a bit less full would really help. Her torso also seems a bit compressed, so try to make the area between her bust and waist a bit more extended.
On the other hand, the boy seems to be in good order, and both of their eyes are gorgeous! The background fits well with the creamy colors of their outfits, and the hands are done nicely. With a few changes, this could be a masterpiece!
Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to comment my work, it means a lot to me ♥ Your remarks are totally fair and understandable, i'm taking note of everything in order to improve ♥ (your comment about the girl's head is absolutely true and kinda funny because actually it's a self-portrait of my boyfriend and me and my head is soooo much bigger than his, it feels terrible.) I think i love drawing hair so much so i usually tend to make it too much full i must calm myself
